| | Our (german) president Horst Köhler was reelected for another five year term last weekend. Although he doesn't belong to one of the political parties that I favour, I hoped that he would be reelected. (Technically, while he is in office, he does not have any party affiliation). The thing that I like about him is that he has actually stuck to that idea and been equally uncomfortable for all parties. On behalf of the laws / decisions that concern me, he acted like I hoped and "vetod" them (being a royal pain in the ass to the parties har har ).
I was surprised, when a fellow student pointed out, that we are now about halfway done with our degree. Although it is quite stressful and time seems to pass quite slowly (especially while working on the math assignment sheets), overall it feels like its moving quite fast. I haven't decided yet whether I will pursue further academic education or jump into the job market when I'm done. I guess I will see what the conditions are like for either option and decide when I'm almost done. I've been thinking (while working on those assignment sheets especially..) and decided it's time for an extraordinary vacation next year. I have not decided on a destination yet, but the current favorites are Hawaii or somewhere in the Caribbean. Any suggestions? I'm looking for a place they speak english, have a tropical-jungle-y-atmosphere, amazing beaches and some things worth going on sightseeing trips for.
I've ordered a laser pointer and I hope it will turn out to be fun for Zelda and me. I imagine it should be..
PS: The weather is unbearably hot and it's only spring...aaaaaaaa (being hot while on vacation is ok, though!)
